The Carolina Panthers needed an identity as progressive and dynamic as the team’s hometown, Charlotte, NC. Inspiration for the project came in the form of the panther itself. Described as the “phantom of the forest,” the panther is dark, mysterious, and elusive. Moving with speed and agility, it can outpace any opponent. These characteristics informed all of the design decisions, from the team’s logo to the season ticket campaign. The resulting strategic visual identity for the team is energetic, electric, resilient, and can serve the team for years to come.
